when there is disconnect of the hearts, and the mind wanders

Is it real when you… can

Find …Love over there,

When you are supposed to be …here

…Is it real when you find your…mind

creeping…

When you should be sleeping…here

Is it for you when you can find passion

There,

…when you lost it here,

Is it real how you smile at me…

…and I emptily stare at you

Is this real…for me here,

Missing you there?

Whoa!!! Very powerfully spoken! This speaks volumes to what I'm sure tons of people (married, involved), I'm sure feel at one point in their respective relationships. I'm sure you're gonna get a sermon from someone saying "It's about finding the passion with the one you're with, blah, blah, blah...." But I see and respect the moment of expression that you've written here without analyzing the solution. Short, but strong and telling. I think people will feel this. I know I did! Is that why I'm single? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

The piece is short and powerful. There is a message that speaks loud and clearly. I wonder if you can push this further? With some of your other poems there is a wonderful story and and flow.
