This is not a love poem
But I love you

Your tender smiles know how to make me want to dance
And as long as you keep looking at me like that my mouth won't quite know what to say or do

I don't think this is a love poem
But I love you

My anxiety goes away in your presence
Your aura is as contagious as the flu

Your eyes transform the word 'blue' for me into something so old, so obvious, but so new at the same time

The way you hold me, and can make me laugh at the drop of a dime baffles me

Like you're some all knowing sublime being sent here to protect me

Okay maybe this is a love poem
But I don't care, it's not a crime

Bravo! I usually hate ( yeah i said that) love poems because i feel they are forced and fake. But this one seemed very real and smooth. I liked your use of repetition with a slight change, the its not, i don't think it is, okay maybe it is, takes the audience of a journey with you.
