like stone

A Poem by Lyric
"

This is for a contest that is for descriptions of stone, I tried Lol :-)

"
My dear friend,
You have become like stone,
Cold and hard,
You have now outgrown your sandy, flowly, free state of mind,
And where you once found beauty now you find beauty being blown away.
You sit now alone, though you once could have flown away like sand with me,
You could have had freedom, you could have had beauty,
But you are now to heavy,
So you sit and groan,
"Oh why me? That I have become like stone? So hard and cold, I have now outgrown, I once could have flown away like sand, but now I sit still and moan, how is it, that I have become like stone?"

This was a very fluent and individual writing piece responding to the word "stone". A good use of repetition and decent amount of description. Good Work :)

Thank you ♡
I love how you didn't just describe a rock but described the mind set of a stone. I also loved the way the mind in your poem became very closed and heavy and you compared that to a rock. great work
