I clap in timeA Poem by Lyric
All of the others clap in time,
they speak in well thought out limericks, and their worlds are built on a foundation of rhyme, well, I am a prose poem, I am not lyrical, I am not sublime, I am simply simple, the world is a hundred dollar bill, well, i'm a dime. Everyone else, was made to be the mountain, that I was made to sweat through, that, I was made to climb, I exist, and although I my world doesn't rhyme, And I don't move mechanically, my thoughts don't go with every clock tick and chime, but I work with the movement of things, I work in time.
