My story

My story starts at the beginning,

and stops at the end,

but the middle is where it delivers,

through pain, 

and loss,

and fallen hero's,

and endless winter shivers,

The hope and faith to carry on,

to sing about truth,

surrounded by con,

to love those dearly,

who hate in vain,

who've fought and killed,

who've loved through pain,

who've forgiven, not forgotten,

but who've let the bitterness decay,

who've given up their pride,

and beliefs,

to let all things like this fade away.
