Life is

Sometimes life gets us right when we thought it was over

Life is what happens when you had other plans,

when you get caught at the most inconvenient time,

by the most inconvenient thing,

when everyone speaks when you say sing,

and something swipes away your angel wings,

just like that,

leaves you to deal with whatever life brings,

and then what are you left with?

A sack filled with nothings.

Life is what happens when someone blocks that super star shot,

and drives the ball back, all the way to the parking lot,

and doesn't care what you're left with,

you're left with whatever you've got,

Life is what happens,

when you can't explain what happened,

when you where standing right there,

so why wasn't that ball caught?

Why didn't you win the game?

It looked like an easy match you'd fought.
