Will you remember me?

Will you remember me?

A Poem by Lyric
"

I don't know, this one just kind of came out of nowhere.

"
I am so often kept beneath.
Kept bellow, where the underdogs stay.
I need for diamonds, and gold,
and I want for a new day,
and I dig for my future,
and I dig, to live through my youth in a rich, ecstatic way,
I want to make myself. I want to mold myself in and out from dirt and clay.
That's just not the way the record plays.

And so I asked the world today,
on behave of all the underdogs,
who are too smart,
and too dumb,
and too just okay.

What is my name world? I ask this of you, if I may.

What is my name world?
And what will I be?
I can tell you don't care.
But when i'm not who I am now anymore,
when I am someone to care about and when I am someone to see,
will you still not care then?
Or will you then remember me?

We all want to rise above the rest and in turn become something we're not, and I suppose along the way we may even have an identity crisis. I found this and the overall theme of looking ahead relatable. The line of those who are just too ok, really interested me because there too many set on a certain path indifferent to the possibilities. Overall interesting idea.

Me too! I don't want to be just "okay". I want to stand out from the milling crowd. I want what I do to be outstanding, to be a guiding light to others that chose to follow my path. Not to exactly follow but to see that there is the possibility for us to exalt ourselves. Life is for living to live fully we must push to our own limits.
