I can't stop.

I know what it seems like i'm talking about, but that's not really it, although it could be. Anything we're used to doing to much can grow unhealthy, we just have to do it.

Constantly.

It's just over, and over and over again and I never seem to learn and I never seem to win.

And even the mistake itself is staring me down,

slowly counting to ten using it's sweaty palms to roll the middle of it's pen.

Writing down all my wrongs.

asking me where I've been.

Daring me.

Just daring me to do it again.

And I  take the chance. I take the chance to crash and burn like it's a welcoming old friend, but all it's thinking about is my failure.

And not even if i'll fail, but just when.

That was beautiful. I feel as though this is about a person who has very high expectations that no one could ever hope to meet. So its not a matter of if there is failure, but just when it will happen because this person is impossible to please.
