![]() SeparateA Poem by Lyric![]() Sometimes we push the wrong people away, sometime's we know they're the right people but we push them away anyway. It's a problem. And for me, it ends today.![]()
So many parties,
in the room, three brides, awaiting only one groom, the maid, standing in the corner of the room, out of our way, with the three separate segments of her wooden broom, but they all sweep the same dirty floor. We all seem so positive, that less is more, Our families are our enemies, but no, they're our cure. We all blindly swore we'd do better alone, There's more than one queen, more than one prince, but only ever one throne. One king. And we fight for it like wild dogs, over a bone, bonds are are not like fabric, once they're broken they can't be sewn. Lies now come out of truth, followed my ugliness and cut ties, goodbyes and hatred made to seem fair. I'm no judge, but I sure as hell declare, that it's not a whole piece if there's an on going tear.
