Hope, Always

Hope, Always

A Story by Lypheria

In your hands I place my heart. It has broken, it has shattered, it was torn to shreds. Will you be the one to hold it close, to cherish it? Will you burn it and scatter the ashes never to be recovered?

In spite of the past, I have faith. I believe. I know that I will be loved, cherished for all that I am, have been, and will be. I will be valued for all that I offer good, bad, beautiful, ugly. There can’t be a rainbow without rain, light without darkness.
