A Simple Kiss

A Simple Kiss

A Story by Tii Len
"

The simplicity in life is often what keeps me going.

"

He kissed me and everything disappeared. The world around us no longer existed – it was just me and him, my arms around his neck and his hands on my hips. He smelled vaguely of lavender soap and the shaving cream he put on his face that very morning.

Surely, I thought, this is what heaven is like.

I grew up in British Columbia and for the majority of my life, I lived only with my Mother. My Father was a drinker, but he was nice. He never hit us or threw stuff at us, he would only ever show ange.. more..
