My Bestfriend

I've lost my best friend I wish my questions got answered

All I know is I lost him from this god awful disease called Cancer.

When this monster intruded into his life not once but twice

Not only did it take away his dignity it took away his life,

I hate you cancer your like a thief in the night.

Yes your took my friends and things still isn't right,

He fought to the end and he gave it his all until his last breath.

All I could think about was how I couldn't help.

Now he's gone and people say he's in a better place as if that's something I want to hear.

I may sound selfish but I rather see him near.

All I got is memories until we meet again

Cancer you evil disease you took away my best friend....
