Restless

Shake the cobwebs from my mind,

Erase shame, despair and sorrow

Trace the barbwire that wraps around my heart

Release my soul

 

I lay restless, wanting, yet satisfied

Screams sing like sirens in my head

My eyes burn from salty tears

Alone, I head no warning
