LamentA Poem by Lyndsay CastroRedemption, or an attempt at it.Hunter, life destroyer, heart crusher. Now hunted, life destroyed, heart broken.
I can let the hunters catch me, string me up and strip me of my skin.
I can end it myself. Not to save my dignity; I've beyond lost it.
No, as penance to the life I've taken. To inflict upon self punishment, destroy my own life for you.
Hate now replaces self love once posessed. Poison instead of petals. Loathing, my new motivation.
I've hurt you, now I'll hurt myself.
