i fell in love with the stars ; knowing it was wrong.
knowing i'd be hurt beyond compare ; thinking i was strong.
the stars could never love me ; i deem myself unworthy.
i am not who they want ; i can only be me.
i am not extravagant ; nor do i shine bright.
i'd have to do 1000 back flips ; to be nearly in their sight.
i fell in love with the stars ; but they're infatuated with the moon.
and i cannot compete with that ; there's nothing i could do.
the stars do not see me ; the way i see the stars.
falling for them every night ; giving them my heart.
the stars will not notice me ; for i am not enough.
i'll find a way to cope ; although this rejection is tough.
i'm in love with the stars ; that's the way it will be.
and i'll continue loving them ; even though they will never love me.

I liked this! it brought forth so many images to me.. To love and want something out of our reach, yet loving it all the same, is such a hard task. yet you are persistant in your quest.. The simpliness of this. Like a peaceful and tranquel feel came across, even though it was heartbreaking.. Nicely done on this..
