Jagged MountainA Poem by Lykos
You probably can hear it as I speak,
My soul aches and my heart is weak. To you all I keep doing is saying yes, To do anything different causes me stress. I don't want to turn this into a fight, But the goal we once shared is gone from sight. You're blind, as I'm the only one who sees, Staying this way is turning into a disease. The hill has turned into a jagged mountain, And a tsunami has erupted from the once tranquil fountain. The paper cut is now a life threatening wound, And our journey is now damned and doomed. © 2022 LykosReviews
