The Abyss

The Abyss

A Poem by Lykos
"

Dark places

"
I've been drained of all my sorrow,
Too long hoping for a better tomorrow.
The joy has also completely gone,
And into myself I have withdrawn.

For all the time and constant prayer,
My world remains cruel and forever unfair.
My life flipped, my nightmare became reality,
And now I live split between sane and insanity.

I teeter on the edge of my annilahation,
For the most part, it was made of my own creation.
But I didn't know it would lead to this,
Drowning in an endless dark abyss.

Don't try to help me, for I'm no longer there,
To remain here was too much for me to bare.
I go to find some peace and tranquility,
Hoping it will lead to some sort of stability.
