Lost direction

Lost direction

A Poem by Lykos

Sitting in this chair high as a tree
What's to become of me.
Will I like the falling rain
Drop fast and turn insane.

A mind full of bad thoughts and fear
It's started to perk up and come behind my rear
I wish it would all disappear
There's unseen pain behind my eyes
Thrown in the back and hidden with lies.

People in my life come and go
Continously going to and fro
Running along I slip and fall
Vanish beneath this blank canvas
A bottomless crevasse
Everyone is now waiting for the credits

I strayed from the path of normality
And onto the track of insanity
Now here I lay down and wait,
For I've given up all hope and faith.

Thanks for the review
This one is deep. I really liked your idea about the chair as high as a tree. I often feel like I am put on a pedestal for people to watch. I dont even feel human at times and when I fail I cringe and want to run to my shell. Though things will be better. I promise.
