Writing is my therapy

My head is filled with emotion
It drives my devotion

I show it through written word
It's the only way I'm heard
I can't speak it aloud
in front of a crowd
I won't utter a sound

But when I'm alone
My true feelings are shown
I let the emotion flow
This is how I show

By pen to paper
There is no restrainer
The ink shows what's inside
From all that I hide

My inner soul is released
Showing both angel and beast
Unleashed on this sheet
It feels good to unload
Everything within I hold

I think you managed to capture most writers/artists. I think my only suggestion would be to define stanzas, it makes it appear more organized.more of an opinion thing though.
