Into oblivion

Into oblivion

A Poem by Lykos

I seem to have lost it
I don't like to admit
I don't know where to look
I wish I had a guidebook

For a time it was within my grasp
Undone by metaphorical clasp
But it slipped and disappeared
It is as I feared

Now non existent
I became very distant
What am I to do
The route has gone from view

It may be gone forever
I hope it will get better

I've read a lot of poems on this site and other people seem to leave them out as well. Thank you.
Good poem, we often lose our way and wonder if we'll find it again. I can totally relate.
