Reflection's Illusion

Reflection's Illusion

A Poem by Lyfelucke
"

A poem I based loosely on an interesting book.

"

Shattered pieces unbroken
A burdened spirit forever still
Empty smiles are the friendly token
Laws not heeding free will
False brothers adversely provided
As water dancing on the sun
Pride in self has subsided
Hope is the golden one
Heartless whispers from above
The winged winds of arrogance
Life of a hollow love
Afraid of the own intelligence
Evil as dark woods unspoken of
Seeing light as a delusion
Fear's rejection of difference
Notice the reflection's illusion

Wow, I really like this poem. It's very deep. 'Reflection's Illusion'... that is such a good title! Wonderfully written, well done.
