my castle of anxiety

my castle of anxiety

A Poem by Lydia Shutter

in the magic of a dancing wind
i drink in the starry night
the universe speaks to me

i bathe in the moonlight
allowing it to show me
a reel of happy times

and suddenly
my castle of anxiety
is but a pile of sand

It's better when all our stress is water under the bridge. I enjoyed the read, F.

you're very welcome.
I don't know why, it made me breathe a sigh of relief. My anxiety was destroyed in an instant. Yes, this poem also caused my anxiety to turn into a pile of sand, and the waves even washed it away and mixed with the sea...
thank you for sharing this

What a lovely review this is. Thank you. Have a wonderful holiday season! Lydi**
Ahh, Lydi. You do have a way of just finding the words to make all the stresses and worry evaropat.... ivapororeight.... melt away like an unwanted smell.
Must be all that sun you get, because my castle of anxiety is frozen in place until at least late march. But don't worry, I know how to escape through a trap door and thaw out in the nearby thermally vented pool next door.
A few hours in that each night almost stops me shiverating! 😃
And a happy Chanukah to you, as well as many more to come 😃
