Always happy to spark thought, E! Thank you so much for the lovely review. Lydi***
This to me is a perfect situation to be in. Living in a world of your own making, if even for only a short time. I just love the pictures this brings to my mind. Thank you for sharing this wonderful display of your talent.
This is a very vibrant write. Shrouded in mystery, a whiff of lust and baked in a whole lot of freedom. this kind of woman always seems to invoke a parade of curiosity from both sexes, the ones who want and the ones who want to be. Really exceptional Fabian.

I thought perhaps your name was Fabian! :) No worries....I am glad you stopped by.
I loved the complete poetry dear Lydia.
"and roam through her multi-colored dreams
yes, she lived in room without doors
a room of her own making"
The above lines. So beautiful, so hopeful. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry.

Always my pleasure and you are welcome dear Lydia.
This lady knows boundaries; who comes into her life, who leaves willingly or unwillingly. She defined her space and place. She takes matters into her hands, making herself happy in being herself.
A beautiful painting to accompany this beautiful poem.
I like the line : "sanctum of the heart."

Wowzy! You are welcome Lydia. You have a great taste.
If the eyes are windows to the soul, the heart must truly be the door. My wife once told me she didn't have a heart. But the heart I knew in her was made manifest in our daughter and just filled both our lives with love. I'd been to point of not caring whether I lived or died, perhaps even preferring death to living; consumed by depression and anxiety. When I look back on those dark times they seem lived by another person, someone alien and detestable to me. It's amazing how life can change and change us with it. The poet Alexander Pope once wrote that "hope springs eternal". It a sad thing that so many never retain the hope necessary to find that spring in themselves and so, they become lost forever. I think we all sometimes build walls around our hearts as a defense mechanism. But in time, even walls fall down. Bless, F.
hopefully that room with no door has a window, so she can look out and see the colors in the world; see the way nature curves around her living space so that when she opens her inner sanction of her heart she can also share the secrets she has seen.... your poem reminds me a little of Emily Dickenson's life and garden.... she kept herself in her room (house) but also enjoyed the garden seen in the back.... she too made her own world and shared it through her words of poetry....
anyway, this is me, saying HI to the woman who lives in a doorless room.... I have enjoyed reading this "very NICE' poem, Lydi

Not sure how to take this one. On the surface, it sounds like the description of a carefree life, but looking deeper, it could be a picture of one suffering from mental illness. "A room of her own making" has the sound of delusions.

there is a deepness like a well to this one.
I just hope the windows didn't have bars on them to make her feel she imprisoned herself.
The way the world is today, it makes sense not to let people in...the world is so scary and it is really hard to trust people...that they not only might take our hearts but our souls as well.
this one packs a wallop.
