bothA Poem by Lydia Shutteris it okay for me to have selective memory? i mean monochrome days do become rainbows sometimes don't they? yes, yes, it's true midnight came and went my carriage did not turn into a pumpkin but i still believed the clouds asked me questions the raindrops did not answer still i had faith i still loved the orange-red-pink sunsets and still saw your face in the clouds the thing is i have a pocketful of memories and another filled with wishes today i made a choice to cherish them both
