just a traceA Poem by Lydia Shutter" just a trace of a thought nearly invisible then suddenly leaping into focus my heart picks up the vibration a typo with the beat of a tambourine sputtering syllables filled with sad silent letters are now somehow tangible my nerve endings fray till i can almost braid them reaching reaching for the right words because surely they have settled at the bottom of my thoughts but the only words that bare themselves to me are the ones i wish i couldn't feel so strongly i miss you
