The most bittersweet reality is the moment you wake from such wondrous dreams, knowing not even modern technology can record such precious moments and we finf ourselves playing the dreamwish jukebox each time after, when our head hits the pillow and we wait to see if it plays again.
Beautifully captured Lydi.
The delicacy of rearranging a rose and baby breath's bouquet so artistically is
sensually desirable... when sips of sun-brewed tea and lips enjoy reality.
Only a Greek Goddess could dream of a fresh forever so beautifully created.
truly, Pat

My dear friend, your reviews are always wonderful. Thank you so much. Lydi**
We can but hope to have dreams like this. Beautifully sensual and all embracing. How often does it happen?
We can but hope it happens in real life, and sometimes it does, but mostly it doesn't. You are an expert at this genre Lydi**. I curtsey to you.

Thank you so much, Chris. Yes, writing romantic poetry is my favorite genre. Lydi**
No one could have stated it more beautifully than you have done here, Lydi. Everything in life is transient, more so love. What seems too perfect, usually is. Choreography is for the stage, not for relationships. It’s a great word you used here. I loved it. Yet, the good times must be cherished. 🌷

This is an honest message that winds around the lessons of love. It's great how you gradually approach the core message so I don't see the twist coming. Usually I do not care for "perfect" love sentiments or scenarios, for exactly this reason . . . an uninhibited downhome love is where its at! *smile* You have an amazing way of picking details that pop! Oh to be back when I used to pop visually too! *wink! wink!*
I was in that 'dream' until those last three lines Lydi... here in black and white is the crash and burn, the place where reality replaces fantasy and all we hoped would be, is nevermore.... such dreams become bitter wake up calls to a shrill alarm that sometimes refuses to be silenced until the clock is smashed against the wall.. the emotional pull in your poem is felt deeply Lydi, makes you almost want to never awaken.... this is just very 'nice' art packaged in words and reality, lit by a candle.... and the use of 'nice' is also understated Lydi...
