I love the title word & all that it conjures up in the reader's mind. Your sensory observations add to the idea of experiencing Shangri-La & I always love your gentle way of spilling out gentle words so full of stimulation for all the senses *smile* Fondly, Margie

Amazing and beautiful use of words.
"a whispered fantasy’s warm breath
gives way to frenzied utterings
and once again i’m transported to shangri-la"
I need a week at shangri-la. Thank you dear Lydia for sharing the amazing poetry.

oft times I can be driving through the mountains or national parks of Utah, and I am so awe struck by the beauty of nature, I feel it is my own Shangri-La,
I just don't seem to have the time to express it in poetry, I am so glad that you do.
Really love this poem.

Hiya Trace...always a pleasure to see a review from you. Thanks so much. Lydi**
Yes indeed, without prompt or a nudge & wink, you let the words flow so impromptu and what a fine, creative, imaginative piece of poetic prose your have conveyed! Kudos Lydia, yes, just relax and be inspired...love your style!
love the art work , and most of all i just love those two opening lines...wow they are perfect to draw the reader in.
If this is the way to your Shangri-la ,it must be a beautiful journey :)
dear Lydi... my Shangri-la would also include a pair of colorful birds ... lingering on a magical chord of forever love, as seen in the art in your poem. In the mountains of Tibet where music is poetry, I concede to the magic of your poetry, as it reaches into the secret places in my world of sequestered moments.
Thank you so much, Pat. Your reviews show me you really drink in my words and I so appreciate it. .. read moreThank you so much, Pat. Your reviews show me you really drink in my words and I so appreciate it. Lydi**
