for just a little whileA Poem by Lydia Shutter“My soul is full of longing for the secret of the sea, and
the heart of the great ocean sends a thrilling pulse through me.” ― Henry
Wadsworth Longfellow
seagulls
sing their anthem of freedom the jetty
wears a wedding gown of sea foam white inside
castles made with care waves do a
glorious slow dance ‘neath shell chandeliers i smell…taste…feel the
smorgasbord of sea air as it
envelops all things dark it is here
life is beautiful sea shells
control the dimmer switch of life even if for
just a little while
