the night undressed meA Poem by Lydia Shutterartwork by harry weisburd i remember being barefoot ‘neath the stars then the night undressed me at least that is what i told myself afterwards
since there was no other logical explanation i was wrapped in the lace of sizzling urges a raiment of intense desire encased my world my very essence now controlled by passion’s dance
ah, the surrealistic charisma of the night the magic of arousal held my breath i thirsted for your kiss- your touch you were the object of my lust providing a bacchanalia worthy of dionysus willingly i stepped off the cliff’s edge falling into a fantasy
truly that is how it happened when the night undressed me and for a few glorious moments concupiscence ruled my world
