Very true indeed, true love stories never have endings. The words are just as beautiful as the that feeling love that made them land on the keyboard.
This is very very fine poetry by a very fine poetess.
I read and read and got mesmerised by the beauty of this write.
Thank you Lydia for this craft.

How lovely you reviewed this one again, Pat. Thank you very much. Lydi**
dear romance connoisseur... O' Lydia... your poem is still haunting
the halls of the Cafe. I hear the crystal on the chandelier
to the tune of Claire de lune... I cross my heart and wish that
it rains Valentines forever. truly, Pat

Three beautiful verses, standing in their own right as amazing poems. The concluding verse highlights the bliss, joy and optimism felt so finely throughout the poem.
how did I miss this exotic, romantic poem Lydi... when your poetry speaks French, I am like Gomez when Mortica spoke French in that TV show Addam's Family... oui, mon amour, you write love stories, each a "cadence" of "filigreed empyrean expands defining desire"... ah Lydi, this must be what it feels like to be struck by Cupid's arrow every year... ;0)
oui, mon ami, "nice" is never enough when it comes to your poetry Lydi...

I have to agree, true love goes on in the heart even after a death of the partner. 31/2 years, I still feel just as married and have the ring on my finger he put there years ago. Love your writings. Valentine
I wonder how uninteresting our life would have been if there were no love stories. Yes, love stories never have endings even if the people involved in it have. Wonderful poetry, Lydi. Beautiful image.
Very beautifully worded work :-)
