the fabric of youA Poem by Lydia Shutterartwork by stanislav sugintas like my favorite worn sweater i pull the warmth of your friendship over my head each morning as the sun grows over the horizon some would say its color clashes with the ivory skin it snuggles against but it complements me caressing me like priceless french silk
the truth is deep inside me were only silent phrases till the words were spoken in your voice simple words perhaps but your voice transformed them into an orchestra of beauty those memorable syllables can’t be found in any dictionary save the one that resides within my heart
procrastinating over coffee and dreams entertaining myself with the attraction reveling in the fabric of you
