Woah! If feelings are ravishing and passionate, words bring them out alive and prime, and as refreshing as they ever were.
"yesterday was blurry
tomorrow was a naked page"
"that day was a flower blooming
a peach ripening to its juicy best"
These lines are my favourite- so passionate and vibrant. Loved it. A lovely poem. It's a pleasure to read it Keep writing :)
Very passionate and elegantly crafted. I particularly liked the notion of tomorrow being a 'naked page'.
Lovely hint of playful in your closing lines (I had to google 'foster grants')
Gorgeous poem Lydi. Regards Ray

The ad campaign in the 60's and 70's had a star wearing huge sunglasses made by Foster Grant and it would say, "Is that Michael Jackson (or some other celeb)behind those Foster Grants?" Thanks for the review. Lydi**
lovely write lydia with I might add another one of yours, having your usual flair for finesse as there are no ragged or pointed edges in your smooth flowing writes. Yes how the skin remembers, lucky we are not snakes but seriously my take was a metaphor for first love or the first meet of your spouse having that electric romantic chemistry that everyone remembers.
Beautifully electrifying poem.
The graphic as well as the write both are tickling and are taking me on my own memory trip. Kudos to your this write Lydia! You gave a special meaning to the graphic..

Glad you could find something to relate to in my words. Thanks so much for the review. Lydi**
I love that feeling of tomorrow being a naked page, the promises to yet be lived and the yesterdays no more what they were, blissful Lydi, as only you could capture :)
Who is it behind those Foster Grants why Lydi of course. What the skin remembers is all we need for a cool October night. Not all memories fade. The important ones return with the touch of wind on a cheek or a warm breath on the nape of the neck.Good write, Lydia.
had to look up foster grants ... so are they near, far, reading or all three? ;) those closing lines are such a gentle prod to humor ..love it! and your poem is so tingling sensuous and sends me searching some, now dimmed, caverns of me own past ..but perhaps they are better left unlit :))) very fine poem ..worth reading more than once ..which i did ;) oooo-la-la

From the perfect title to the flower blooming and the peach ripening to its juicy best. So potent it jumps off the page, and then, my own skin remembers too.
