Thin Air

Thin Air

A Poem by Lydia Shutter
"

Just having a bit of fun here.

"

We are in the midst of thin air?

The air is thin you say?

Now how is that possible?

I must investigate without delay!

The aroma from the kitchen

Has me smacking my lips

Whereon lingers the flavor

Of salt and vinegar chips!

When past the pantry I saunter

M & M’s scream my name

Unleashing a raging desire

Quite impossible to tame!

Yet you say the air is thin

A quandary of grand proportion

With all the goodies around here

Surely the air deserves her fair portion!

No there must be some mistake

Your perception is amiss

Pish posh - - the air is thin?

This theory I summarily dismiss!

Gee
My oh my, now I need a snack. Have seen a few women who have had daisies tattooed on their butts which, over passing time and to many calories, are now tightly stretched sunflowers...... Enjoyed reading Lydia

Giggling here. Thanks for the review. Lydi**
I miss the days when I could eat everything without a second thought. I still eat all but am left with a feeling of guilt. With increasing age one has to watch his calories and his intake.
After reading this poem I feel I need to invade the pantry.

All my fault! LOL thanks, Mark. Lydi**
Ah, Salt & Vinegar chips. Miss Vicki's if you please. The only thing better is Sea Salt & Vinegar. I think I'll search out a bag. The air's too thin you say, we all should be as thin as she.

:) Sea salt and vinegar....yummy! Thanks for the review. Lydi**
As a kid, I was always ticked off that the things that were good for you always seemed to taste the worst.

Life of course mirrors the palete. :))
