in a moment of intense clarity
clouds inseminated with joy
smile
knowing secrets
only the wet grass of a summer morning
can share intriguing you say?
as the sun
swallows what is left of the night
i realizethe sheet music
is gloriously engraved in my psyche
oh, but i will never sing the lyrics
because the point, mon amour, is
there really is no point at all
we shall always share the clarity the sweet knowledge
of that day the day passion took control
and you became
a forever part of my life
"A forever part of my life..." We take on every
parcel of another person's life. We become best
friends. The reward is worth the effort...
from beginning to present...
" as the sun swallows what is left of the night",
We will taste the fruit of each new day.
truly, Pat
This is the kind of poem that leaves an indelible mark in the heart. because it is so true and deep, everything that poetry is made of. The very purpose of life. as always, classic turn of phrases, beautiful lush imagery. your poetry, your style, your grace is timeless, my friend!

Gosh this gave me shivers; the good kind. Fills the senses.
Quite taken with this, incredibly romantic...felt like a slow dance with someone you adore.

Rach, I appreciate your kind review. Thank you. Lydi**
Very intriguing & thought-provoking, along with recognizable sensory & sensual delights you often offer your readers. Good word-crafting: "inseminated with joy . . . smile" . . . I'm getting a clear vision of how two people are attracted in a variety of ways, until finally "the day passion took control" . . . and then I love the final two lines as a perfect ending for this powerful building of feelings.
