i continue droplets of light fall on me like rain sneaking through clouds on a summer’s day summer breeze flutters like butterfly wings alighting on a fragrant flower i sigh like an inaudible symphony heard by only the chosen few i accelerate like a jazzy rhythm realizing forward is the only way to go
We must continue if we are to survive, and you describe the most charming way to move on to a jazzy rhythm as part of doing so...continue, sigh and then accelerate with realization it is the wisest way to survive the chaos of staying stuck in the moment! The expression on the face of the lovely lady seems to express just that - contemplating the better choice!

dear Lydi, as the universe unfolds, butterflies
welcome the new born babies as flowers bloom
and music soothes our soul. We are here to
love and share encouragement. Beautiful poetry
and art. truly, Pat

Such a delicate and beautiful little creature, the butterfly.
It flies against some strong winds at times and gets blown off course but it if you look at the Monarch in particular, what a journey! It has its own strength, resilience and grace. Lovely poem again!

I love them too. When I was 19 or so I got a butterfly tattoo.
It was sort of a spontaneous thing. It's the only one I have, my one act of rebellion that I kept hidden from my parents. (Still...)
We keep pressing on and must face everything head on, somethings happen in life and i wish we could fast forward those moments and pause to some very good moments but as they say, life has seasons, a season for everything. I have missed reading you

Thank you so much, Cassie. I was away for a while. Lydi***
I like that "jazzy rhythm" of life Lydi and you sing, play and write it with wonderment and wide eyed enthusiasm... what a scrumptious meal found in these words: "droplets of light fall on me
like rain sneaking through clouds
on a summer’s day"... yes, to continue in this is the only way to go... sometimes we look back, but even then we continue forward... funny thing about time's arrow and the heart's feelings...
I am glad you "continue" Lydi and continue to write these "nice" poems...

there is a sweet sadness that makes me want to linger there ..but your poem is wise ..one must keep moving or risk the death of hearts ... the picture is perfect for your poem and vice versa .. i like the "jazzy rhythm"!
