"A syllable away
I can make your day
You can make me sway
Then sadness will fly away"
Anything can happen in the magic of a syllable that you used to hear from someone dear. I remember these words from a verse I have read long time ago :
" you captured me
explored everything in me,
every inch of me,
not by your hands
but by just few words"
This is superb, Lydi. Another elegant poem from you. Kudos!

This poem is amazing...Your words are as playful, ethereal whispers of love...all in a stunning poetry...Indeed, it is all but a syllable away...Your pen has created magic once again...I am still holding my breath.

You are most welcome and thanks a lot for sharing your beautiful poetry Lydi.
There is a joy in your dance of words, this rhythm and movement that moves in the richest extravagance of loving. Life and love as poetry is pure perfection.

I'm not quite sure how to describe this, for some reason I want to go home and read it to my wife. I love everything about it, the words, the underlying theme, the font and type, everything even the picture works to bring it together. And it works beautifully. Who doesn't like a late night rendezvous, hidden from everyone? I'm saving this one.

I am honored you want to read this to your wife. Wonderful! Thank you so much, James. Lydi**
This has such a familiar feel, but maybe it is just your inimitable style. "the celibacy of a sonnet" is delightful (two more lines and THIS would be a sonnet). Anyhow, been away for awhile from both writing and reading but hoping to get back to it soon, and this, your writing, will always be a favored destination. ~Jim
