you recline in the unmade bed watching me in the lusty light of morning the air conditioner hums whilst i’m moist with passion’s dew the dizziness of the day must begin time for the costume of life to cover my nakedness
four breaths ago you stroked my skin turning it into satin making me love you want you even more
The gently sensuous ambiance begins with line one and simmers slowly thru the last word leaving the roaring passions of "four breaths ago" to the beauty of our imaginations. Love it! And the accompanying artwork is icing on a very delicious cake. 100/100

aaah Lydi, those wonderful eyes that see you, morning eyes full of a new days passion.. the sensuousness of your words awakens our desires (real or remembered) for mornings like this.. You leave us breathless and "moist" with "want" and passion.. this is way past "nice" Lydi..
now get back in that unmade bed and tear him to pieces.. er.. hmmm I know, the new days begins, but life is short and what better way to begin it, at least until noon!!! ;0) I love your poetry Lydi you know some of us live vicariously through your words, right??!!

Indeed, now I know! Was vicarious your word of the day? :)
A lovely cameo of morning awakening after love's labours... 'moist with passion's dew' - yes, how damp the sheets can be... or better, the air, with a slow revolving fan in the roof sending cooling drafts over a lover's nakedness... 'stroked' and 'turned into satin'... yes, though I must say, the satin may be how it feels at the first, as the moments of pleasure unfold...and arousal drives desire.
I'm not sure how but it seems each poem of yours I read is better than the last. Your eyes see love in the most beautiful way and now so do we through your words. This was lovely.

Each time, Lydi, you choose to share an elegant sensual moment--
or lovely fantasy--I somehow manage to enjoy it
even more.
Work that radiates allure, gifted poetess!
I always get a little shiver when you write your sensual poetry. This is so realistic and believable. There is no fantasy here. This is real and classy... This is elegant sensual surrender.
Perfect!
