tasting the morning

sitting on my porch this morning.....amazing sunrise earned a poem

"mimosa sunrise" by savlen

the sun jiggles like jello

in the dish of dawn

i ponder its flavor

cherry-orange-lemon

if it were a nail polish color

it would have a clever name

                        “amore a la italia” perhaps

or “a kiss of morning”

must write a thank you note to the artist

but where to send it?

no,  instead i  will sit here

tasting the morning

OMG....horrible! We just came home from an 8 day cruise. It was wonderful. The weather here is unseasonably warm. The low this morning was 73....just fine with me.
