dear Lydi... Who will notice your limp...
Love is always an adventure over the
craggy shores of the ocean's storms.
The beauty of the sunrise will always
bring strength and renewal as seagulls
glide above with the promise of
eternal love. truly, Pat

a sincere confession of a heart that is troubled. the chaotic noises of the city, matching the restlessness of your soul. none knows otherwise, unless your verses reveal..
a touching poem to the core Lydi!
" ... my poetry suspended in a teardrop ...". Such a melancholy write, yet still imbued with the beauty only a true poet could create. I have had a lot of sad write over the years and I hope you found this as cathartic as I do many of my sadder ones. ~Jim

"my poetry suspended in a teardrop" - even your saddest of poems are written with the beauty and elegance that is you Lydi.
The last line struck home for me for a number of reasons. I'm glad I read you today!

A sad poem to be sure, a brilliant juxtaposition next to your usual exotic breaths, relationships and blues, even the most in love will have blue days love the painting that goes with this beautiful rendition of a sad day in the world of bliss.

Beautiful artwork and strong thoughts and questions.
"yes, i’ll manage to limp over the emotional gaps in my life
but who will notice?"
I believe we must keep the energy of hope alive. Hard to depend on other folks. Thank you dear friend for sharing the excellent poetry.

You are right, John. Without hope we have nothing. Thank you for stopping by. Lydi**
We somehow always manage to limp over the emotional gaps, don't we? Perhaps others don't notice because they are too busy trying to limp over their own. I love the imagery of "poetry suspended in a teardrop." When released, I think these suspended poems are always some of the best.
