A Poem by Lydia Shutter
"

a poem for Writer's Cafe Patricia Wedel's birthday...April 23rd

"

in the library
               she sits
amidst books bound in leather
words waiting for her eyes to make them real
or in front of a keyboard
keys longing for her touch
they know her heart is a love song
her soul is a versified countryside
a kaleidoscope of blues and greens
                                 dancing with the stars
indeed, she is springtime personified
twirling through a field of daffodils
playing ring around the rosy with life
sharing her love with all those on her radar

april 23, 2015 happy birthday dear pat!
may you celebrate many more in good health
i am fortunate to have such a special friend!

What we have her folks is yet another cracker from an increasingly and justifiably respected poet amongst us. My good literary friend Lydia Shutter 'Lydi' has a most versatile pen and writes for people to enjoy her words... Here, as might be seen is an example that exemplifies this particular perception.

I have no doubt whatsoever that PW loved her dedication, or that many others like myself, will do too
Thank You Lidi

What beautiful, tender words for such a wondrous special friend... I saw the title and could think of no better place to be sitting... :) Your words just lift the weight of the world with their lightness...

What a lovely review, Craig. Thank you! Lydi**
Words deftly arranged in stately, almost other-worldly beauty; reflecting the radiant soul of their arranger.
Poetry that reminds us that poets play all parts, stimulate every reaction.
We see, and feel, you, lovely Lydi!

Frankie, thanks so much. Hope you are enjoying the weekend. Lydi**
You've captured bunches of things in few words. It's seemed like she was sitting before your very eyes when you were jotting down (or typing down) this whole poetry. Every word that you wrote in your poetic format's seemed enjoyable and refreshing to read. This poetry could be a gift to 'Patricia' on her b'day that's 'bout to entering into her life on 23rd. April. Nice art. Well written!

Thank you very much, Adams. Lydi**
Lydi certainly captured you in this fantastical characterization! ...right down to the parasol in your avatar, even if it is an umbrella!

I adore you, Pat, and wish you the blessings of many years to come. Thank you for being such a good friend through the years, and the Cafes!

Happy Birthday!!
