Dandelions becoming roses just because they are from him - says it all really Lydia.
love this line -
"kisses my mind with inspiration"
and I loved 'carnelian sunset' - another new word today - yehaa!
the final stanza is so filled with what it means to be not just the lover but also the friend, the confidant, the support that we all need.
excellent wordsmithing dear poet !

A very powerful and romantic write for a man who has captured your heart and mind. Who does not want to be loved like this? Your poem electrified me to the core. Absolutely gorgeous!!
"He", the pronoun, is heavier now Lydia, "that male one who is neither speaker or hearer" (Webster).
But you have taken the word, unplowed it from the land of human segmentation and made it
spiritual. And only a few among us know how.
"tickles my tongue
with the perfect mélange
of naughty and nice".
The "he" you speak of never brags about himself. Never agonizes over the football team
or how many beers are left in the fridge. Your "he" is the he of inspiration. And how wonderful is that?
I love this.......dana

Ah, your verse is like a gentle breeze on a summer night. There is always this one person who would let us see the brighter side of life. A delicate, heartwarming piece :)
Beautifully written, but is this man just a wish,a dream I ask myself?

Jumping Jupiter Lydi, you crammed so much beauty and feeling into this little gem of yours that not only you for sure, but also your readers, and let there be many of them will be blessed. This shall henceforth be consigned to my personal favorites.... All Good Things, N
