This is quite beautiful, Lydia. It seems as if the one planting is a cartographer of her heart; mapping out the pathways of her endless flowing love.

My sister-in-law had all these books by McKuen she had collected in college and I borrowed them from her. He was a hopeless romantic. Have you ever heard the song, "Seasons in the Sun" He wrote that for Terry Jacks and Terry had a pretty big hit with it in 1974.

What appears to be careful word choice and precise positioning of those words somehow creates a thing sublime--or maybe it's the other way around.
In any event, Lydi, "the legend" certainly qualifies as exceptional work.

Oh wow...what an image you have conjured up here. Unnamed flowing rivers and seeds of desires that sing somebody's name. This is almost mystical in its beauty...it's too much to take in. Really, really special poem here. Your poetic charms just keep getting deeper, my friend.
