life seems unreasonable

words
like threads
help me sew a senseless, soft-witted

tapestry of the day
silken yet loony, linguistics slip through
the needle of miscellany
a frivolous foolish bagatelle
soon takes form
                            so regal
ah, yes

this is an accouterment to drape over
my chair of ennui
on this cockamamie, cracked

bonkers, batty

oh my goodness!! you have me just a giggling mess over here and it ain't even wednesday!! the alliteration alone has me dancing in my seat, but the playful fun and the phrasing are so dang witty and humorous..

"help me sew a senseless, soft-witted tapestry of the day...".... this alone started the fit of giggles and I swear is just about the most fitting I feel sometimes...

and then the c's at the end.. they just "cracked" me up... finished me off.. went from giggles to laughing out loud at my screen....

OH MY now even Wednesday has a Lydi poem!! And inspired by Frieda no less. You Joisey Gals crack me up!! Next thing you know there will be a month called ALydial and one called Frieduary and all poets will be writing tributes to both of you... sheesh what's this world coming to??? To use a Friedspresion HA!! Well this poem is spiced with whimsy and Lydisms to tickle our tongues as we read out loud ... actually that should be Lydicalism ..
I can see it now a new poetic form LyFridia with Wednesday iambic compliments and a joisey gal base .. it will rock the world.
