You capture love even in the thought of "silence" Lydi. You remind me of times when I too have felt the reason for being even when my world is all out of rhyme.
This poem carries to me a thought seeding the catalyst of my emotions and the condensation of memories I hold dear.
Thank you for sharing you gift here with me.

"You kiss my senses awake"- the passion is ignited... " you soothe my senses"- the warmth of his presence. This is your first poem i am reading but in the last five minutes i have read it thrice.. Love the lucid words and flawless flow.. with a sweet message-"you are my fire and desire" :)
In beaty goodness and truth I was just reading the thought of a musician and as I turn to this fabulous writing I am given not only the musical answer but also the "cover all bases" answer of why that comment was given. The expression here is not only brave but by leaving all fear behind it has become irradiated with what? Beauty to see and transform. Goodness to bear and behold. And truth to accept to incoorporate and to give onself in total.
Such sweet feathery kisses reawakening and embracing the heart and soul....reason & rhyme indeed, hardly 'simple' Lydikey, more like utterly luverly in its intense simplicity...

You're welcome Lydikey, I was channeling Audrey but it didn't work. ;)
dear Lydi... a kiss is as lovely
as a peacock's wing and as romantic
as feathery touches can bring. Your
poetry is as delicate as the art of
Monet. truly... Pat
