your meaning

your meaning

learning can be such a wonderful pasttime

your meaning wafts

through the air

as you speak

the weight of your words

like a warm blanket

of delicious knowledge

under which i thrive

i pilfer a noun

pairing it with a purloined verb

then carry them home with me

in the last sunlight of the day

"I pilfer a noun, pairing it with a purloined verb"
Your knowledge of the English language serves you well in your poetry,
and to include it in your poetry is pure genius.

I am not sure I know the difference ( but I fake it quite well ) (I think)

Always enjoy your work.

Thank you very much, Rita. Lydi**
Lydi, your meaning never wafts, it settles in, cozy and warm on my mind and heart. There is always a smile hidden somewhere in your writing and fortunately, I always seem to find it. I am wearing it right now. Very fun, nice and warming...

You are very welcome :)
Now I begin to suspect you a teacher Lydi! It feels like a naughty teacher articulating her desires to her lover!
