for youA Poem by Lydia Shuttermemories can be sparked when you least expect itphotography by elizabeth urquhart courtesy of etsy.com pure nature photos the air outside was cold but in your arms it was warm like the inside of a flannel
shirt the clouds made the winter
sky pure white you told me they tasted
like vanilla ice cream i said sparkling stars were
the sprinkles and i could almost taste them together we twirled to life’s
music wrapping ourselves up in the ecstasy of our
personal galaxy believing we would be there
forever but an explosion of years
erupted a paroxysm of sorts
last night i stared at the
moon felt the seductive swoosh of
the humid breeze through the palm fronds vanilla ice cream clouds moved lazily through the night
sky and you know what? i can still taste them
this is for you....where
ever you are © 2013 Lydia ShutterFeatured Review
