Oh moon and stars
I beseech you
open your samovar of sparkle
allow this night to lounge a while longer
permit my blonde tendrils
to tangle with the hair on his chest
for a few more moments
rosy cheeked and sanguine
I fervently plead
sanction our rendezvous
with your celestial light
that this night shall last
till 100 tomorrows have evanesced
for nothing is truly ours
but this moment
and our love
Reads like a timeless classic, Lydi! What a bittersweet pain it is...we cannot make glorious moments last but in memory. Everything about this write spells poetic elegance. "for nothing is truly ours
but this moment and our love"...one of the most memorable lines ever written in the history of poetry. Incredible, my friend.

Our time on this earth may be short; but when a single moment can last a lifetime, sometimes, a moment is enough. One minute of love should never be denied out of fear of death. This is beautifully written in breaths of the heart. Great job!

Wow, what a lovely rendering...the mention of "100 tomorrows" took it over the top for me, but then again you always send me "there".
Happy new year, dear Lydi!
Love & Light,
Kelly

What a beautiful awakening of the heart... a longing that stirs the heart and soul. Embrace that love and let it fill every moment of your New Year. :)
