delicious history

delicious history

A Poem by Lydia Shutter

uphill rhymes of life were easier to navigate that day

the smooth shadows of desire hid in every corner of the room

your voice was an elixir for what ailed me

oui, mon amour, tu es charmante

soft flashes of arousal danced in your eyes

and when the moon came out to play

i felt certain years from now

the rest would be delicious history

very emotional, I could certainly feel the aroha, and passion flowing around. titling this piece the delicious history first made me to reread the poem to get the essence of delicious history and now I can sense how delicious that history can be. a great piece and best luck.

And yes, she is charming as you are my friend! I do not know French so when you use it in your poetry, I am absolutely swept away in the sound and meaning of it! Your words flow with a delicious present and that which shall be a delicious history! It makes me think of the phrase, "Those were the good old days"!
Beautiful Lydi!!

I'm on a diet today
and whatever delicious food offered to me,
I won't taste it anyway
"Cause I'm on a diet today!

Sometimes someone charming comes along, dancing before your eyes... motivating...arousing...tempting. Once in a while, you're glancing...but fighting against the temptation. You just have to tell, "This won't take long. Tomorrow, this will be just one of those delicious memories".

Nice one, Lyd** Brilliant!
