from the moment
the burning tongue of dawn
licks the sky i hunger for your touch when red arrows of dusk
pierce through clouds i crave your kiss
the musky breeze whispers
to enflamed palm fronds
an inferno is sparked and so the yearning continues naughty stars of night
incite passion
my soliloquy is never - changing mon amour, pour aujourd'hui et
pour toujours
Beautiful picture followed by passionate and wonderful poetry - the whole ended with the most glorious French phrase!
'i hunger for your touch
when red arrows of dusk
pierce through '
Those words epitomize love in its deepest, most faithful and sincere way. Glorious writing!

Be kind to yourself, rest when you can, yes?! Hug
It's true, what you said about the palm fronds...if the sunlight catches them just right, they do appear to be "enflamed". [Of course, only those living in California or Florida would know this.]
Hope you have a wonderful autumn weekend!

Every time that burning tongue of dawn licks the sky, there is a thunderstorm of emotion that spills down the page of ecstasy and it keeps the spark alive the whole day long - my Lydia! This is sooooo sensual and beautiful!!
I just had to find the artist of the picture too and his portraits are exquisite, as is your write!
An excellent choice for classy words of passion and sensuality!
And the ending.........oh, I just love it when someone talks dirty in French......kidding of course! (Yes, I know I am often sooo bad). It is a perfect phrase to close your words of yearning!
I feel the sizzle of this one steaming off the page!!
