againA Poem by Lydia Shutterrainy day "stuff"without pain sans passion i see the world as it is
today through
a rain streaked window like a hoyden i rant at the greedy squatter
in my brain inequities will not be
tolerated! like a wide-eyed
schoolgirl i gather beauty in
my arms a benign smile creeps to my
lips a
calm moment releasing me from bitterness a moment i will remember
tomorrow with
a curious mingling of pleasure and pain when the world has its way with me again
